RetroPop features

RetroPop is an online retrospective tool for agile and Scrum teams. Unlike a blank whiteboard, it gives every retro a structure: a format, guided stages, timers, hidden voting and action items, so teams spend the meeting talking rather than setting up.

Guided retrospectives

RetroPop runs the retro with you, stage by stage, so the facilitator can focus on the conversation.

12 retro formats
Start Stop Continue, 4Ls, Mad Sad Glad, Sailboat, Timeline, 5 Whys, Lean Coffee, DAKI, Pre-mortem, Appreciative Inquiry, Squad Health Check and a Scrum checklist.
Stages with instructions
Each format is split into stages with separate instructions for the facilitator and for participants.
Shared timers
Every stage has a suggested timebox; the facilitator can start, pause, extend or change it, and everyone sees the same countdown.
Facilitator controls
Move the whole team between stages, pause the session, and adjust timings per retro.

Live collaboration

Everyone works on the same board at the same time, from anywhere.

Join with a link
Teammates open the invite link and type their name. No account or download needed.
Real-time updates
Notes, votes, comments and stage changes appear for everyone immediately, with presence indicators.
Silent and anonymous writing
Write on your own first; make a board anonymous when the topic is sensitive.
Comments and reactions
Discuss a note in its own thread, or react with an emoji.

Decisions and follow-through

Every retro should end with a few clear actions.

Hidden voting
Each person gets a set number of votes; totals stay hidden until voting closes, so nobody anchors on others.
Focused discussion
Topics are ordered by votes; the facilitator moves the team through them and marks each as discussed.
Action items
Give each action an owner, a due date and how you'll know it worked, linked to the note it came from.
Retro summary
A summary with highlights, discussed topics and actions, which you can copy as Markdown.

Specialised boards

Some formats need more than columns, so RetroPop draws them differently.

Timeline
Notes on a timeline with lanes and draggable days; star the turning points.
5 Whys tree
Problem → why → root cause → intervention, with branches for several causes.
Lean Coffee rounds
Timeboxed topic rounds with a keep-going or move-on vote.
Health map and checklist score
Anonymous traffic-light ratings with trends, and a Scrum checklist with a weighted score.
